Mold control in the catering industry

Anti-mold system treatment with ASPEREX®.

The following describes the ASPEREX® system treatment as a mold control to achieve an optimal synergy of the individual products. To do this, apply the ASPEREX® system treatment as follows.

Step 1 of system treatment: Pre-cleaning with ASPEREX® UNIVERSAL CLEANER

If there is coarse soiling or if the mold infestation is serious. - e.g. covering the entire surface, pre-cleaning with the ASPEREX® UNIVERSAL CLEANER is necessary. Pre-cleaning is generally recommended in order to be able to carry out the following mold treatment with the most lasting effect possible.

The ASPEREX® Anti-Mildew Cleaner dissolves heavy soiling such as greases, oils, resins and waxes. It is based on a special grease-dissolving cleaning base.

APPLICATION:

First, make sure that the surface to be treated is free of coarse dirt. For example, when treating a production site (with a scraper, brush or similar), remove the product residues from the surface to be treated. If the coarse soiling stubbornly adheres to the surface, spray the surface with ASPEREX® UNIVERSAL CLEANER after removing the removable soiling. After a reaction time of 3-5 minutes, scrape or scrub the surface clean. In the case of particularly stubborn soiling, this should be repeated several times if necessary. Then rinse or wipe the surface thoroughly with warm/hot water.

Step 2 of the system treatment: Application of ASPEREX® ANTI-MOLD SPRAY FA

Now use ASPEREX® ANTI-MOLD SPRAY FA to combat mold or microbes. The anti-microbial immediate effect unfolds immediately after application with an effective time of 60 seconds.

APPLICATION:

Now spray the pre-cleaned surface with one stroke per section and wipe the product on the surface without removing it. Wiping is only for better distribution. ASPEREX® ANTI-MOLD SPRAY FA remains on the surface and forms a protective antimicrobial film there.

Step 3 of the system treatment: Application of ASPEREX® PREVENTIVE GEL:

To achieve an above-average, sustainable and thus long-lasting antimicrobial effect, the surface must now be re-treated with the ASPEREX® PREVENTIVE GEL. ASPEREX® PREVENTIVE GEL is also suitable for treating walls and ceilings. The gel's own creeping ability ensures that the gel can penetrate porous surfaces, soaking them and thus also developing its antimicrobial effect there.

Application

The creeping gel is applied directly to the surface previously treated with ASPEREX® ANTI-MOLD SPRAY FA using a brush or roller applicator. The gel adheres to the surface and does not run when applied correctly.

It doesn't always have to be a biocide - ASPEREX® PREVENTIVE SPRAY

Alternatives to biocides are becoming increasingly popular. Especially for the organic food sector, such as organic bakeries, a non-biocidal mold mitigation/mold inhibition is a more conceptual alternative. The spray is applied here as follows:

APPLICATION:

Now spray the pre-cleaned surface with one stroke per section and wipe the product on the surface without removing it. Wiping is only for better distribution. The ASPEREX® PREVENTIVE GEL remains on the surface and forms a protective antimicrobial film there.

All ASPEREX® products are suitable for the food and feed sector and can also be used safely there.
